Privacy Policy & GDPR

This section describes our agency's policy when processing personal data. This policy applies to both computerised and manual data processing.

Processing of personal data of visitors and users

Our real estate agency is represented by SPREUX Philippe and its registered office is located at Ham-Sur-Heure, rue Saint-Roch 6.

The personal data that the user provides when making a request via our website is processed by our agency in order to be able to respond to the user.

Personal data is only transmitted to the staff responsible for handling requests. This data may be communicated to persons outside our agency when this is necessary for processing the user's request.

If the user refuses to provide certain essential data, our agency may not be able to process the request.

By accepting these terms and conditions, we will send you the list of listings matching your search criteria, and you will also benefit from free information services regarding our occasional actions and our agency's services. This information may be personalised.

No data is automatically collected by the website itself. The only data we process is that which you voluntarily provide to us. Other information that may be automatically collected is only collected by statistical tools such as Google Analytics and only relates to your TCP/IP address, the brand and latest version of your browser, and the web pages visited, but remains completely anonymous.

We may store an access code and password via a cookie. Other information such as your search criteria or the language chosen to visit the site may also appear in the cookie. (A cookie is a small file sent by our server that is saved on the hard drive of your computer. It keeps track of the site visited and contains a number of pieces of information relating to that visit. Our cookies are primarily used to make the site work – technical session cookies).

We may also process data concerning you from third parties such as media (immoweb, vlan, Zimmo, ...). These are only communicated to us following a request via the forms available on their respective websites. Provided you have given your consent, your e-mail address may be used by the agency for the purposes specified above.

The information is used solely for internal purposes and will consequently never be sold to other natural or legal persons, whether or not they are connected to our company. However, this data will be communicated, at the request of judicial authorities or police services, without the prior authorisation of the data subject.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information received on our website.

All our employees who have access to your data have a strict duty of confidentiality.

You have the right at any time to access and rectify this data, as well as the right to object, in order to verify its accuracy and to have any errors corrected.

To exercise this right, simply contact us:

By post: Place de la Digue 11, 6000 Charleroi

Update

Our agency undertakes to regularly update this charter in order to take into account any legal, case-law or technical developments. Only the latest version will prevail.

b) Charter: Rights of the data subject over their personal data

The holder of personal data acknowledges having been fairly and fully informed of the processing of said data by the real estate agency. In addition to this right to information, the data subject has the following rights:

  • Right of access: the right to obtain from the data controller confirmation as to whether or not their data is being processed, and access to that data.
  • Right to rectification: the right to have inaccurate information corrected and incomplete data completed.
  • Right to erasure: the right to obtain the erasure of their data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, if the person withdraws their consent, or exercises their right to object.
  • Right to restriction: when the data controller no longer needs the data but it is still necessary, the data may only be processed, except for storage, with the consent of the data subject or for specific reasons.
  • Right to data portability: the right to obtain the data they have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit that data to another data controller.
  • Right to object: the right to request the controller to stop processing their data and, in any case, a right to object to direct marketing.

Any request to exercise these rights may be addressed to our agency via:

By post: Place de la Digue 11, 6000 Charleroi
By e-mail: info@espaceimmobilier.be

The response will be provided via the same communication channel, within the shortest possible time and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request. No payment will be required unless the requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive (repetitive in nature).
